Character Relationships
Nov. 4th, 2012 03:18 pm- Tougou: Like I mentioned in his headcanons, Tougou is his brother from another mother. Lars admires and respects Tougou; he’s the guy that can keep the Captain in line one moment and laugh with him over a couple of beers the next moment. There is no one Lars trusts more, and he doubts there will be anyone else he trusts more with select decisions than Tougou.
* You can imagine that Tougou is a soft spot for Lars; no really! Insult Tougou and you gon’ get it. DO NOT DO IT. IT’S NOT CUTE. Tougou’s death left Lars reeling. Just…do not mention Tougou if you have nothing nice to say. That’s asking for a lightning charged fist to your face…and lots of broken bones. - Jin Kazama: Lars’ half-nephew. There was a point in time where Lars respected Jin greatly. There had to be something there is Lars was seemingly Jin’s right hand man (at least I like to think so before Lars rebelled) until Lars’ conscience reared its head. Jin waging war on the rest of the world—waging war on otherwise innocent people—and seemingly having no regrets didn’t sit well with Lars. On top of that, Jin’s reasoning for doing so seemed pretty selfish even if he did kill off Golden Chicken Azazel. Lars understands Jin bringing Azazel out, but he doesn’t like it one bit. Jin hurt far too many people in doing so and that’s why Lars is angry. Understanding, but angry. He can’t be too angry at his half nephew; after all they have one of the best goddamned tag team moves in Tag 2 ever, okay?
- Heihachi Mishima: Lars’ daddy! Lars doesn’t like his daddy; I mean we’ve all see him attempt to shoot him in broad daylight in Heihachi’s own damned estate. Lars would rather have his father dead somewhere, it’s that bad.
- Lee Chaolan: Lars likes his adoptive brother of sorts! Lee is suave and cool, not to mention he did that favor for him and repaired Alisa! What’s better? Lee doesn’t like Kazuya either! SCORE. Lee’s pretty damned excellent. [mun is promptly shot]
- Alisa Bosconovitch: Ah yes, Alisa! Lars’ robotic partner in crime for a lengthy amount of time. Lars owes Alisa for a lot of things; she was there when he had that awful case of Amnesia among other things. Alisa is one of the bright and bubbly spots in his circle of friends and he does care for her well-being. It’s not stretching into the ‘Let me write you a bunch of Shakespearean sonnets of love’ and ‘we should get naked’ territory at all, but Lars does look out for Alisa. She seems to be doing well anyhow, having found friends in one Ling Xiaoyu, Miharu Hirano, and…a giant panda bear. Well, as long as she’s okay, Lars is okay. I wouldn’t go around insulting Alisa either; that’s rude and it will draw Lars’ ire.
- Raven: His second partner in crime when Jin did that predictable yet awful thing of turning Alisa on Lars. Raven was all business and reminded Lars they had many more pressing matters to tend to, namely Azazel running around in the Middle East and Jin Kazama still causing a whole bunch of shit to go down and fuck with the balance of the world. Lars owes Raven his life as well to an extent; who else gets to take down a giant robot with ninja skills? Nobody but Raven, that’s who. Lars understands that they’ll be enemies down the road probably, but that doesn’t mean Lars forgot about the ninja’s assistance.
